Report on the Participation of Binaloud Institution of Higher Education in the 18th International Exhibition of Tourism and Handicrafts Mashhad
Binaloud Institution of Higher Education actively participated in the “18th International Exhibition of Tourism and Handicrafts Mashhad”, held from May 13 to May 16, 2025. The institute played a significant role in showcasing its academic and research capacities. This event, which attracted numerous tourism enthusiasts and industry professionals, provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and discussions on tourism and ecotourism.
The both of Binaloud University and the Iranian Ecotourism Scientific Association was among the most visited sections of the exhibition, drawing attention from many experts and officials. Notable visitors included Yousef Bidkhoori, “Deputy Director of Tourism at the Khorasan Razavi Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department”; Ahad Azimzadeh, “Iranian entrepreneur and carpet trader”; Mahmoud Madar Shahian, “President of the Professional Hoteliers' Association”; Yadollah Beshkani, “Governor of Torqabeh Shandiz County”; Mr. Valizadeh, “President of the Association of Travel Service Offices”; Dr. Ahmadzadeh, Deputy Director of Education at the Khorasan Razavi Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department”; Dr. Ahmad Dinari, “Deputy Director of Investment at the same department”; Mr. Kazemi, Deputy Director of Political and Social Affairs in the Torqabeh Shandiz county”; Dr. Ali Shahsavar, “Board Member of Mashhad Bus Organization”, and etc. Their visits demonstrated a strong interest in academic contributions to the fields of tourism and ecotourism.
During the exhibition, Binaloud Institution of Higher Education introduced “Tourism management course” and its specializations at the master's level. The Ecotourism Association also presented its vision and goals related to “responsible tourism”, enrolling new individual and institutional members. Additionally, several meetings were held with tourism industry professionals to explore further collaboration opportunities.

Introduction and Information Sharing: Distribution of brochures containing details about the institute’s academic programs and an introduction to the activities of the Iranian Ecotourism Scientific Association. Additional explanations were provided by the Tourism Scientific Association of Binaloud Institution of Higher Education.
- Interaction with Visitors: Addressing inquiries regarding tourism studies, related career opportunities, and future programs of the Binaloud.
Cultural Showcase: Active participation by Yekta Shekari and Yeganeh Khodaverdi, wearing traditional local attire, highlighting the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Iran.

Travel Fortune Interactive Program: A creative "Travel Fortune", was successfully executed, receiving an enthusiastic response from visitors and creating an engaging and dynamic atmosphere at the booth.
Opportunity Desk from University to Tourism Market: A dedicated opportunity desk session was held with Dr. Ahmad Dinari, providing a valuable platform for students and visitors to ask questions and benefit from his insights and experiences.


The presence of the university and the association in this exhibition marked a significant step toward fostering academic and practical collaborations in tourism and ecotourism. It is hoped that these interactions will lead to constructive outcomes in the future.
