CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Civil Engineering Group of Binaloud Higher Education Institution was established in 1389 by launching a continuous Bachelor's degree program in Project Management Engineering. In 1394, the group added a non-continuous Bachelor's degree program in Executive Civil Engineering, and in 1395, a continuous Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering was launched, taking a big step in educating future specialists of the country.

Currently, the group has two permanent faculty members named Mr. Shahram Pourakbar and Mr. Ali Talebi from some of the most reputable universities in the country, including Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the University of Tehran. The group also utilizes the expertise of more than ten experienced professors with PhD and Master's degrees to educate and train committed and skilled professionals. About 200 students are currently enrolled in Bachelor's and non-continuous Bachelor's degree programs in this group. It should be noted that over 270 students have graduated in the field of Civil Engineering so far. The management of the group is currently under the responsibility of Dr. Shahram Pourakbar.

Civil Engineering is a field of engineering that deals with designing, constructing, and maintaining the built environment, including the design and construction of buildings, roads, bridges, tunnels, water supply and sewage systems, and other infrastructure. It is one of the oldest and most important engineering disciplines. Students in a Civil Engineering major at a university will learn the fundamental principles of engineering, mathematics, and physics, and how they apply to the design and construction of infrastructure.

The curriculum for a Civil Engineering major typically includes courses in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, and construction engineering. Students will also learn about materials science, computer-aided design (CAD), and project management. In addition to coursework, students in a Civil Engineering major will typically participate in laboratory experiments, design projects, and fieldwork to gain practical experience.

Upon graduation, Civil Engineering majors can work in a variety of fields, including construction, transportation, environmental management, and urban planning. They may work for engineering consulting firms, government agencies, construction companies, or as independent consultants. Civil Engineers are involved in every stage of a construction project, from the initial planning and design to the construction and maintenance of the infrastructure. They may also be involved in research and development of new construction materials and methods.
